Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal – Expectations from the Bar, Bench, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Finance, Higher Judiciary and Legislature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>All India Members\u2019 Conference of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal\u00a0is scheduled to be held on 12th<\/sup> and 13th<\/sup> of July at Goa\u00a0 Marriot Resort & Spa Miramar, Goa. The conference marks the 84th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the \u00a0ITAT and will bring together Members of the Tribunal and eminent jurists, and dignitaries for a confluence of idea, reflection and celebration. Honourable Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal Honourable Minster of State (UC) for Law and Justice, Honourable Mr. Justice Nitin Jamdar, Chief Justice High Court of Kerala, Honourable Justice Ashwin Damodar Bhobe, Judge Bombay High Court and Shri Tushar Mehta Honourable Solicitor Government of India will be inaugurating the two days conference. About 300 participants from across the country are expected to attend the two-day\u00a0conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The learned Senior Advocate\u00a0Dr. K. Shivaram has penned \u00a0a brief note for the consideration and deliberation of stake holders. The suggestions are\u00a0 \u00a0divided into seven parts,\u00a0(1) Expectations from the Bar-Role of the Bar, (2) Expectations from Hon\u2019ble Members of the ITAT,\u00a0(3) Expectations from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT),\u00a0(4) Expectations from the Ministry of Law and Justice, (5)\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Expectations from the Ministry of Finance,\u00a0(6) Expectations from the Judiciary, (7) Legislature (Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Law and Justice).<\/p>\n
