Mr. Samir\u00a0S. Jani, an Advocate from Junagadh\u00a0(Gujarat), was elected National President of the AIFTP for the Term 2025.<\/p>\n

AIFTP is the Apex body of Tax Practitioners, having 11,200 as life members from 29 States and 4 Union Territories and 146 Professional Associations as affiliated members.<\/p>\n

At the 27th<\/sup> National Convention of the AIFTP held on 14th<\/sup> December 2024 (Saturday) at Junagadh, Mr. Samir S. Jani, Advocate, Junagadh (Gujarat), has been unanimously elected as the National President of the AIFTP for the term 2025. Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, as a Chief Guest of the Inaugural session, has administered the oath of Mr. Samir S. Jani, Advocate as National President of the AIFTP, in the presence of Guest of Honours, Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice Soumitra Saikia, Judge, Guwahati High Court, Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice B. D. Karia, Judge, Gujarat High Court, Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice Pranav Trivedi, Judge, Gujarat High Court and more than 500 delegates from across the country.<\/p>\n

Mr. Samir Jani has been Practicing as an Advocate since 1980. He has been a member of the National Executive of the AIFTP for more than 15 years. He served as National Deputy President for 2024, Secretary General (2020), National Vice President (2016 & 2017), Member RDTAC, Rajkot for 2 years since 08.04.2010, President of All Gujarat Federation of Tax Consultants, (2014-15), Co-opted Executive Committee Member of GCCI for two terms, Member, Gujarat Electricity Board for 1\u00a01<\/sup>\/2<\/sub>\u00a0years. Vice President, Western Gujarat Chamber of Industries, Hon. Secretary, Federation of Saurashtra & Kutch Chamber of Commerce. Trustee, Rupayatan Trust, Trustee, Shishumangal Trust, Junagadh. Member, Advisory Board-Veraval Mercantile Co. Op. Bank, and Trustee, Gandhinagar Charitable Trust.<\/p>\n

Other Office Bearers of the AIFTP for the term 2025 are Mr. S. Venkataramani, Chartered Accountant from Bengaluru as Deputy President, Mr. Santosh J. Gupta, Advocate from Nagpur as Secretary General and Mr. Bhaskar B. Patel, Advocate from Vadodara as National Treasurer.<\/p>\n
