A ENTERED INTO A AGREEMENT WITH A BUILDER TO PURCHASE A HOUSE IN 2006.  HE MADE PAYMENTS TOWARDS CONSTRUCTION IN INSTALMENTS UPTO DEC., 2010. THE FINAL PAYMENT IS TOWARDS KEB, BWSSB ETC.  THE PROPERTY IS STILL NOT REGISTERED IN HIS NAME.  HE IS THE ASSIGNOR WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY.  IF HE INTENDS TO SELL THIS PROPERTY TO THIRD PARTY CAN HE CLAIM INDEXATION

Discussion / capital gains exemption

I own two residential houses and a site.  Can I claim exemption u/s 54 and 54F by selling these properties and investing the money in one single house.  Can I claim exemption u/s 54 and 54F if I sell two of these properties after six months of investing the money in the new house.  are there any case laws in this regard.
