The Paper also describes proposals for revising and extending the Disclosure of Tax Avoidance Schemes (DOTAS) regime.<\/p>\n<p>The Consultation Paper is of great importance in the Indian context in the light of GAAR which is proposed to be introduced w.e.f. 1.4.2013 and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itatonline.org\/info\/index.php\/download-draft-general-anti-avoidance-rules-gaar-guidelines\/\">Draft General Anti-Avoidance Rules (GAAR) Guidelines<\/a><\/strong> which were introduced recently.
