Shivaram<\/strong> and <strong>Shri. Beni Chatterji<\/strong>, are specialists in Direct Taxes and are well known for their contribution to the growth and development to the law. The other five Advocates who were awarded the prestigious designation are well known for their expertise in the field of civil and commercial law. <\/p>\n<p>The Bombay High Court follows a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itatonline.org\/info\/index.php\/high-court-lays-down-criteria-for-designation-of-advocate-as-senior-advocate\/\">rigorous procedure for selection of Advocates<\/a> to be conferred the honour.<\/p>\n<p>It may be recalled that in the recent past, several eminent members of the ITAT Bar Association have been awarded the prestigious designation of &#8216;Senior Advocate&#8217; such as <strong>P. J. Pardiwalla<\/strong>, <strong>J. D. Mistri<\/strong>, <strong>P. F. Kaka<\/strong> and <strong>S. N.
