The ITAT is organizing a \u2018Members\u2019 Conference on International Taxation<\/strong>\u2019 on 19th & 20th February 2010 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. <\/p>\n

The Conference will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, Chief Justice of India<\/strong>. Dr M Veerapa Moily, Union Law Minister<\/strong>, will be Guest of Honour. Hon\u2019ble Justice S. H. Kapadia<\/strong> will deliver a keynote address on \u201cShrinking globe, its impact and challenges before judiciary<\/em>\u201d. <\/p>\n

The topics to be deliberated in the conference include topics of everyday importance to tax practitioners such as \u201cDetermination of Arms Length Price – Traditional methods vs. profit based methods, applications and pitfalls<\/em>\u201d, \u201cPermanent Establishment<\/em>\u201d , \u201cDevelopment of Global Tax Jurisprudence<\/em>\u201d etc. <\/p>\n

The speakers are eminent experts such as Hon\u2019ble Justice S H Kapadia<\/strong>, Mr. Michael Lennard Chief<\/strong>, International Tax Cooperation Unit, United Nations, New York, Ms. Caroline Silberztein<\/strong>, Head of Transfer Pricing Unit, OECD, Paris, Prof. Win Winjen<\/strong>, IBFD, Prof Ned Shelton, Denmark Shri SSN Moorthy<\/strong>, Chairman, CBDT, Shri Prakash Chandra<\/strong>, Member, CBDT, Mrs. Anita Kapoor<\/strong>, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax and others. Hon\u2019ble President Shri Vimal Gandhi<\/strong>, Hon\u2019ble Sr Vice President Shri R V Easwar<\/strong>, Hon\u2019ble Vice Presidents Shri G E Veerabhadrappa<\/strong> and Shri P P Parikh<\/strong> will also address the conference. <\/p>\n

There are no charges for the conference though attendance is by invitation only. <\/p>\n
