Rebello<\/strong> of the Bombay High Court has been appointed <strong>Chief Justice<\/strong> of the Allahabad High Court.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Justice Rebello<\/strong> has been party to several landmark income-tax judgements such as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itatonline.org\/pdf\/narang_overseas_245_2A_stay_extension_high_court.pdf\">Narang Overseas<\/a><\/strong> 295 ITR 22 (<em>Tribunal\u2019s power to stay demand beyond 365 days<\/em>), <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itatonline.org\/archives\/index.php\/set-satellite-singapore-vs-ddit-bombay-high-court\">SET Satellite<\/a><\/strong> 307 ITR 205 (<em>Dependent Agent PE<\/em>), <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itatonline.org\/archives\/index.php\/dit-vs-oman-international-bank-bombay-high-court\">Oman International<\/a><\/strong> 313 ITR 128 (<em>Bad Debts<\/em>) and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itatonline.org\/archives\/index.php\/star-television-vs-uoi-bombay-high-court\">Star Television<\/a><\/strong> 317 ITR 66 (<em>Constitutional validity of s. 245HA<\/em>). <\/p>\n<p>The learned Judge is an active participant in Seminars. He delivered a speech titled <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itatonline.org\/articles_new\/index.php\/india-advantages-vision-2020-honble-shri-justice-f-i-rebello\/\">India Advantages \u2013 Vision 2020<\/a><\/strong> at the Inaugural Function of 1st <strong>International Tax Conference<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>We wish the learned Judge good luck in his assignment as <strong>Chief Justice<\/strong> of the Allahabad High Court. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hon\u2019ble Justice Ferdinho I.
