Her father, Late Shri. V. Ramachandran, was a highly respected senior advocate. Her paternal uncle, Late Shri. V. Balasubramanium, retired as Vice President of the ITAT. Ifthiqar Ashiq [2016] 239 Taxman 443 (Madras) (S. 54 deduction), Southern Sizing Mills v. Dy.CIT ([2015] 235 Taxman 254 (Madras) (disallowance of expenditure), Devi Karumariamman Educational Trust v. Dy.CIT [2015] 233 Taxman 420 (Madras) (binding effect of judgements), Ravi Appasamy v. ACIT [2016] 69 taxmann.com 305 (Madras) (set-up of business) etc. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sumanth takes an active interest in professional development. Some names that readily come to mind are that of Hon\u2019ble Justice J. K. Ranka who is presently serving in the Rajasthan High Court and Hon\u2019ble Justice Rajesh Bindal who is presently serving in the Punjab &#038; Haryana High Court.
