He has issued a detailed communiqu\u00e9 to the Income-tax department in which he has set out the road map that has to be followed over the next six months. <\/p>\n<p>The learned Chairman has emphasized that one of the priorities is \u201cMaximising revenue collection\u201d. It is stated that \u201c<em>Every possible step needs to be taken for not only achieving the budget collection targets but also exceeding the same<\/em>\u201d. It is also stated that the priority is on \u201cDelivering quality tax payer services\u201d.
