Held that the Assessee had duly explained the source of cash deposit made in bank account with the help of regularly maintained cash book on day to day basis and bank statement that he was having sufficient cash in hands on eve of cash deposit out of cash withdrawals from his bank CIT(A) having not examined the contention of the assessee vis-à-vis cash flow statement, matter is remitted to the file of the CIT(A) to decide the issue afresh. Tribunal also held that at the stage of initiation of reassessment proceeding AO is required only to frame a prima facie belief as to the escapement of income. Reassessment was affirmed.(AY. 2016-17)
