Held that in the absence of any supporting documents, assessee’s explanation that payment was not made towards purchases of imported items as the goods were found to be defective and the said goods were to be returned to the supplier cannot be accepted; assessees having not recorded the purchases of said imported furniture in his/her books of accounts, addition  is upheld.
