AN INTERMEDIARY CREATE A WEBSITE FOR DOCTORS AND PATIENTS WHO CAN REGISTER ON IT FOR ONLINE CONSULTATION. THE FEES FROM PATIENTS COLLECTED BY THIS INTERMEDIARY AND DISTRIBUTE IT TO DOCTORS. THE INTERMEDIARY GET CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OF COMMISSION  ON SUCH FEES.

PLEASE ADVISE THE GST IMPLICATION AND TYPE OF REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The doctor is not liable for GST on the consultation fee as it’s healthcare service & exempt. The intermediary is liable to charge and pay GST on its commission. If the annual turnover exceeds Rs. 20 lakh or involves inter-state supplies, the intermediary will have to apply for GST registration.
