I   am yet to receive form  5 from the authorities. But I have so far I have been served three notices of faceless assessments as well as summons for First appeal proceedings

Also the case was supposed to be time barred on 30th september 2021.

now suddenly. the date has shifted to 31st march 2022.  I have not received any  communication (sms/mail/notification  on my account) for the same.

Whom should I approach for all this?

Please write to the Designated Authority . I case if you don’t receive any response from the Designated Authority , you may send a letter to the Chairman CBDT . As regards the appeal pending before the Fist Appeal the assessee may file a letter stating that the assessee has filed the Declaration under VSV Scheme and form no 5 is not yet received. The First Appellate Authority will not proceed with the appeal . It may be desirable to file written submission before First Appellate Authority on merit of the case . When the appeal is pending before the First Appellate Authority , there cannot be any notice from the Assessing Officer under faceless assessment Scheme . The notice from the face less assessment may for different assessment year . If the notice for levy of penalty for the Assessment year 2012 -13 , the assessee should file letter informing the filing of declaration under VSV and copies may be filed . It may be desirable to consult the tax Consultant with all the necessary facts for further guidance
