  Notice Period Recovery is taxable or not
I left my organization Saxo Bank, Gurgaon, Haryana back in June 2021, and they deducted 1.9 L as Notice Period recovery and settled everything in Full and Final Settlement in which I paid them the left over recovery amount. Last month's salary was not paid, and while I was serving the Notice Period, I paid them the projected Notice Period recovery.   Taxability of salary of NRI in India for services rendered outside India
Where a remittance is made to a person by way of salary on monthly basis(for services being rendered outside India) to a NRI employed for overseas branch of a firm resident in India. Whether the same is chargeable to tax under the Head Salary in case of such  employee in India or in the country where the employee is based.

  Exemption of Leave Salary Encashment received by Govt. and Non-Govt Employees.
In the case of non-government employees, the exemption under section 10(10AA)(ii) is to be  determined with reference to the leave to their credit at the time of retirement on superannuation, or otherwise, subject to a maximum of cash equivalent of leave salary of ten months' leave calculated on the basis of average salary drawn during the 10 months immediately preceding his retirement.
