High Court accepts plea regarding glitches in the operation of faceless assessment procedure. On the ground that request for personal hearing was not taken into consideration and the assessee was asked to respond to the draft assessment order over the weekend which period was subject to lockdown on account of COVID-19, the High Court has stayed the effect, implementation and operation of the Assessment Order & the Notice of Demand and issued notice to the authorities under the Income Tax Act.
