Discussion / Felicitation of Retired Law Secretary
March 19, 2014, 11:37:10 AM
Felicitation of Retired Law Secretary- Recently the ITAT Delhi Bar has felicitate Mr. P.K. Malhotra ,unknowingly that this person has already been retired from the Law Ministry on September 2013. This person is there because of the mercy of the Law Ministry and Cabinet Secretary. Very soon a team of CBI will behind him and raid him for the manipulation done by him. This person is not providing information asked from him under RTI by various advocates.
It is interesting to note down that before leaving the ministry he wants to earn more and that is why he has scheduled interview for selection of new ITAT members on 6th April 2014. But Mr.Malhotra you are not aware that a retired person is not competent to sit in interview therefore be cautious, otherwise your future is in problem. It is my request to all the brother advocates that immediately contact me in Supreme Court for brining a large scale agitation against the illegal extensions of the retired officers because of which the new persons are not getting chance. I am also forwarding a comprehensive complaint in CBI in this regard.
Thanks

Discussion / UBS Bedi- Stingy in giving adjournment
January 23, 2013, 11:15:57 AM
Dear friends the Delhi I TAT bar is facing problems in getting adjournment from the Bench of Mr. Bedi. Who force the counsel to appear before him by granting short adjournments. The reasons for granting short adjournments is best known to God. It is relevant to mention here that the president of ITAT Bar is also not taking any action such as boycott of Mr Bedi Bench in the interest of professionals. If one conduct the bone test of this fellow then he would come to know that there is manipulation in his age. I am sure his age would be definitely higher than what has been shown by Mr Bedi in his service records. His sleepery behavior in Bench his ability of understanding the issues is very poor. He wont even understand that his children are suffering because of his acts, for example recently one of his daughter has been divorced by his son in law. I am also requesting the law minister to initiate action against him for manipulating his age because I have got certain evidences against him which proves beyond doubt that is now seventy year of age. Further the president of ITAT should also initiate action against him by removing him from Bench. This kind of person should be kept busy in chamber works

Recently I have read in Punjab Kesri dated 4-9-2012 that Hon'ble Law Minister has trimmed the wings of the corrupt ITAT members and hence an honest person has been given the post of President of ITAT. Now my request is that some reforms are also required in the Panel of Department because now in these days it is seen that the counsels of the department are also doing private practice as is evident from the enquiry of the CIT Judicial(Delhi) against Mr. Deepak Chopra who is handling private briefs and presenting assessees before the Tribunal. It has come to the knowledge of the undersigned that this person, while holding the post of standing counsel has also appeared in the case of Ajeet Karan Singh ITA No 28 of 2010 listed before the A bench on 5.12.2011. And when the Bench had enquired from this person about his locus standai, he said he has resigned from the post of standing counsel. This shows the greed of money. The CIT Judicial Delhi has conducted enquiry in this regard however nothing has been done till today. Therefore it is prayed that these types of persons should be debarred from practice because they can mingle themselves with any one and spoil the cases of revenue. This my appeal to Hon'ble Law Minister and Hon'ble Chairman of CBDT and to the Judges of Delhi High Court-

Department is filing frivolous appeals day by day and that too without any paper book a poor assessee who get a favourable decision from CIT(A) by hook and crook again grilled by the department before the ITAT even if his case is covered. Not only department the Members of the ITAT are also pressurizing assessee to file paper book they don't even look at the findings of the CIT(A). The members of the ITAT are very clever as has been observed they are not bold and sit on bench with a scary mind. In order to maintain a balance between their orders they always try to provide happiness to the Departmental representatives in those cases where unknown faces are appeared, the members are doing this so that when they have to give favourable decision to their near and dears no body can doubt them. Sham on these fellows they are not competent judges, they forget that the chair of judges are the chair of lord. So it is my appeal to the present president who project himself to be the devotee of lord Krishna that do justice with the poor assessees by directing department to file paper book in each and every appeal before the hearing commence otherwise i will request to the Hon'ble Law minister to close this institute
