Narayan Prasad Jain, Advocate elected as the National President of the AIFTP for the term ,2024
At the 26th National Convention of The AIFTP held on 23rd December 2023 at Kolkota, Mr. Narayan Prasad Jain, Advocate from Kolkata has been unanimously elected as the National President of the AIFTP for the term 2024. Honourable Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal Judge, Supreme Court of India administered the oath of Mr. Narayan Prasad Jain as National President of the AIFTP
Mr. Narayan Prasad Jain has been Practising as an advocate since February 23, 1983. He has been a member of the National Executive of the AIFTP for more than 15 years. He served as National Deputy President for 2023. Served as National Joint Secretary (2000-2002), Secretary General (2012 & 2013), National Vice President (2016).
He is Visiting faculty at IIM, Kolkata, NUJS, ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI and various Institutes.
He is the author of the books ‘How to Handle Income Tax Problems’, ‘Income Tax Pleading & Practice’, ‘Ready Reckoner of Business Expenditure’, and ‘Tax Treatment of Cash Credit & Unexplained Investments’.
He is the Co-ordinating Editor magazine Taxman. He is a Regular contributor of articles in The Telegraph, Sanmarg, Taxman, AIFTP Journal etc. He appeared in 300 TV episodes. Ministry of Finance, conferred Direct Taxes Literature Award for 1994-95 for his book ‘Kaise Suljhayen Aaykar Samsyaen’.
He is the founder of the Direct Taxes Professionals’ Association and served as President in 1986-87.
He is the President of Calcutta Citizens Initiative and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the famous NGO Concern for Calcutta (CC).
Other office bearers of the AIFTP for the term 2024 are, Mr. Samir Jani Advocate from Gujarat who was elected as Deputy National President, Mr. Ram Deo Kakra Advocate from Kolkata is the National Secretary General and Mr. Anil Mathur, a Chartered Accountant from Jaipur is the National Treasurer.
