“He was always like a diamond,very straightforward and did not tolerate any nonsense”

It is difficult for me to say anything about my dear friend Hiro Rai. I was very close to him and he was a member of our Friday Club. 

He had many qualities and if one were to sum up in Hindi language Hiro means a diamond and he was always like a diamond.  He was very straightforward and did not tolerate any nonsense.  He was honest to the core, clear in his speech and approach, and never made compromises with his principles. These days things have not remained the same as they were in the earlier days. 

He was clear-headed.  He had many prominent clients including celebrities.  But he never boasted about his contacts. As the president of the Tribunal Bar Association, he conducted the affairs of the Association very efficiently and impartially. He was accessible to all the members of the association but never compromised with his principles.  We will miss him for his very premature death. He was so young but God loves to recall those whom he loves. We will miss his acumen for a long time his smiling face in Bar Library and his helping hand to all those who needed him.
