Held that as the Assessee having already transferred one of its units by way of sump sale, the assets liabilities stood transferred to the purchaser and, therefore. bad debts relating to the said unit written off during the relevant year cannot be allowed as deduction on the basis that the debtors were part of the assessee’s residual assets.
