Is it necessary to register Partition Deed of HUF if it does not own any immovable property?
Where the Partition deed of HUF transfers any property, immovable or movable, it is advisable to register the same.

However if instead of a deed, since a complete partition of an Huf property alone is permissible under Prov. Of ITA, same is done on basis of Oral Consensous, such fact is later confirmed by y individual Signatures of each member of erstwhile Huf. Such Affidavits with Notarization, in lieu of A Doc. Signed by all, can be an alternate mode and same can be without Registration of a Deed.
May kindly confirm this age old practice, whether continues to be accepted.
