I have known Vivek as a friend and colleague since 1984. He was a simple man. We worked together on several important tax matters before the Delhi High Court & the Supreme Court. I had met him during the course of his treatment but, his death has come as a rude shock. It still seems unbelievable. May God rest the departed Soul in peace and give strength to his mother, wife, children and other family members, to bear the untimely loss.

Vivek was one of the finest individual I met. I came in touch through the chamber of tax consultants Mumbai of its Delhi Chapter for the first time. In the first meeting itself our friendship clicked and we met quite often thereafter. This was the time when he was in practice as advocate. Thereafter when he became member of ITAT with his first posting at Mumbai we were regularly communicating with each other. his tragic demise came all of a sudden. He was very down to earth and a friend of friends. It is difficult to believe that he is no more with us. We can only wish that he rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Meenu and both the lovely children. May God Bless you all and strength.
