Vide letter dated 09.08.2012, the CBDT has released a list of officers of the rank of Commissioners of Income-tax who have been selected for an “Advanced Mid Career Training Programme” which is to be conducted at the IIM, Bangalore and the Syracuse University, USA.

So many ‘training programs’ in the US of A for its staff, public money being flushed down the drain by the ITD. Comes as no surprise that the Department is unable to retain persons like Shri Arvind Kejriwal in its ranks. Persons who are immune to the loss of public money, however, stay and , in all probability, thrive.
