The Directorate of Income-tax (Systems) has issued a letter dated 11.12.2019 regarding the conduct of assessment proceedings through ‘E-Proceeding’ facility during financial year 2019-20 with reference to CBDT Circular No. 27/2019

The CBDT has vide Office Order No. 253 of 2019 dated 12.12.2019 stated that consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority, several officers have been promoted to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PCIT) (level 15 in the pay matrix Rs. 1.82.200-2.24.100/-) w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the post by them and until further orders.

The ITAT has announced the dates on which various Benches across the Country will not be functioning during the winter vacation. The dates are available for the Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bangalore, Chanigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Chennai Benches
