The ITAT has announced the dates on which various Benches across the Country will not be functioning during the winter vacation.
The dates are available for the Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bangalore, Chanigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Chennai Benches.

There will be a break in judicial functioning of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal at Mumbai, in as much as there will be no sitting of the regular benches, during the period specified below:
23rd December 2019 to 31st December 2019
2. All the appeals, cross’ objections and miscellaneous applications fixed during the aforesaid period stand adjourned, and the fresh dates for hearing of these matters will be informed separately. However, in case there are any urgent matters, such as stay petitions and the matter being heard under time bound instructions of Hon’ble Courts above, the parties are at liberty to approach the lTAT office so that, if necessary, bench(es) may be constituted to hear such matters.
3. It is clarified that the offices of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal will remain open, in the normal working hours, during the aforesaid period as usual.
It is further clarified that the pronouncement of the orders on appeals or applications, which have been heard and orders thereon are reserved, will also be done, as may be necessary, during the aforesaid period as well.

The Hon’ble Vice President Mumbai Zone has been kind enough to accept the request of the Bar Association that if the details of the appeals along with convenient dates are provided to the ITAT before 12.12.2019, then the same may be favourably considered. The appeals for which no such request is received will be fixed in the normal course.
