Vide Order No. 71 of 2013 dated 25.04.2013, the CBDT has posted several Assistant Commissioners of Income-tax (probationers) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100 (Plus Grade pay of Rs. 5,400 in PB-3), on completion of training at National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur in the Region of CCIT(CCA)/Station/Charge indicated against each with immediate effect and until further orders.

Very biased order.
In case of the last transfer order dt 5.08.2013, the promoted officers,(who are 40+) even the lady officer is transferred out of the home state, Spouse ground for retaining was not considered. Honorable Chairman stated that the officer is to transfer out, and officer claiming the spouse ground is to understand that he / she is to get transferred out as per the transfer policy. Still that was violated in certain cases. Now in this order all benefits are granted to lady officers and spouse ground.
This shows the ill and malafide intention of the CBDT.
